Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify and address each patient’s unique needs, leveraging tools and methodologies informed by the latest research.

  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans that employ evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.

  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to facilitate healing and growth.

  • Facilitate psychoeducational groups that offer support and community for clients facing common mental health issues.

  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and coworkers to provide integrated care for patients with complex needs.

  • Respond to mental health crises and provide necessary intervention support, ensuring safety and stabilization for those in acute distress.

  • Educate patients about their mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and involvement in their care.

  • Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing EHR systems effectively.

  • Participate actively in case consultations and seek ongoing professional development opportunities to stay informed on mental health advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Massachusetts.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience in an outpatient mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits
