• Conduct individualized assessment and evaluation of clients, developing tailored therapeutic strategies that effectively address their unique mental health needs.


• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to diverse populations, including individuals, couples, and families, to foster their mental wellness and personal growth.


• Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic approaches to facilitate meaningful therapeutic outcomes.


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.


• Participate in ongoing training and professional development, remaining abreast of the latest mental health research and therapeutic practices.

The primary focus of our counseling services at Optimal Psychiatric Clinic includes diverse populations ranging from adults to children and adolescents. Our therapists are equipped to address a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and substance use disorders, ensuring holistic support tailored to each client’s circumstances.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.


• Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in California.


• Prior experience working with clients in clinical settings, preferably for a minimum of two years.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline is highly preferred.


• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma is considered advantageous and desirable.


• Experience with evidenced-based treatment modalities and group therapy facilitation is a plus.
