• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy strategies for clients, ensuring a tailored approach to treatment.


• Provide therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, couples, and groups, implementing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short therapy.


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the confidentiality and security of patient information.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans that reflect a coordinated approach to client wellness.


• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in workshops, training sessions, and staying informed on the latest advancements in mental health research.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Tree of Life Counseling Services, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client population. • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.


• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.


• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, is required.


• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards within mental health practice.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with a diverse clientele.


• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.


• Proficiency in EMR software and other technological tools relevant to telehealth services.

• Experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling is highly preferred.


• Background in working with lower-income or underserved populations is advantageous.

• Competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
