Our organization is in search of a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Nephrologist to become a part of our team in Oakland, California.

Currently, we are looking for a third Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Nephrologist to join our pediatric specialty department in Oakland, California. This full-time role involves working alongside two local pediatric nephrologists at our Oakland facility and two additional nephrologists regionally, as well as collaborating with various pediatric subspecialists, case managers, social workers, dietitians, child life specialists, and support staff. The responsibilities include delivering clinical care in both outpatient and inpatient settings for pediatric members of our health plan, while also collaborating with pediatricians, adult and family medicine physicians, other pediatric subspecialists, Urgent Care and Emergency Department physicians, Pediatric Hospitalists, Pediatric Intensivists, and Neonatologists. Additionally, the physician will play a key role in expanding our inpatient hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis programs and will assist in developing a Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) program in partnership with our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team. There are also numerous opportunities to mentor and support medical students and pediatric residents participating in our Pediatric Residency Training Program at Kaiser Oakland.
The annual salary range for this full-time position is $329,189 to $340,020, with potential additional incentives of up to $16,650*. Options for reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may also be available. *Some incentive figures are estimates based on potential premium pay.
