Work EnvironmentThis role is designed to be remote, enabling you to deliver care from the comfort of your own space while maintaining the flexibility necessary to meet client needs. You will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team that includes psychologists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare providers who work together to offer comprehensive service delivery. Virtual collaboration tools facilitate seamless communication and ensure that care is cohesive and comprehensive.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct mental health counseling sessions via teletherapy, focusing primarily on youth and young adults.
- Perform detailed patient assessments to determine individualized treatment plans and progress evaluations.
- Utilize evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to address and resolve mental health issues.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately while upholding HIPAA compliance standards.
- Collaborate closely with a variety of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and medical providers, to create a holistic approach to patient care.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in mental health practices and therapy methodologies to ensure quality care is provided.
This position focuses primarily on supporting youth and young adults, ages 12-25, experiencing a range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related conditions. Working in an increasingly challenging landscape, your expertise will help navigate their recovery processes, which is crucial for promoting long-term mental health stability and resilience.
Qualifications- A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- An active Washington State licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is mandatory.
- Strong foundation and proficiency in individual and group counseling techniques.
- Pending certification in mental health counseling will be deemed an asset.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality in a digital environment.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience providing mental health services, particularly focused on youth and young adults.
- Expertise in crisis intervention methods and referral systems for additional support services.
- Previous work within integrated healthcare teams is highly regarded.
