Nurse Extern

Our organization is looking for a Nurse Extern to join our team in Brevard, NC. This position is designed to provide support for bedside nursing care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN). As a Nurse Extern, you will engage in a variety of tasks that enhance your learning experience in a clinical setting.

• Assist with monitoring vital signs and ensuring patient hygiene.
• Support patient mobility and participate in specimen collection.
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
• Participate in the admission and discharge processes for patients.
• Help maintain a safe and patient-centered environment.

• Current enrollment in a nursing program.
• Basic understanding of nursing principles and practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
