As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Connect Serenity Counseling Services, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in supporting the mental health and wellness of our diverse patient population. This full-time position is remotely based, leveraging telehealth technologies to reach clients effectively. You will be part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team, engaging with a variety of professionals such as medical providers, doulas, and lactation consultants to ensure holistic wellness for our clients. • Engage proactively in clinical consultations and interdisciplinary co-learning sessions to enhance our service delivery.


• Complete all necessary clinical documentation to maintain compliance and ensure high-quality care.


• Provide direct therapeutic services, conducting thorough behavioral health assessments and offering counseling as part of a dedicated support structure for clients.


• Consult with prenatal care team members, including obstetricians and other health professionals, to facilitate comprehensive care plans that address both mental and physical health needs.


• Co-facilitate childbirth education and postpartum peer support groups, working alongside experienced birth workers to empower and educate clients.


• Participate in community engagement initiatives aimed at promoting holistic wellness and building a supportive network for birthing individuals and their families.

This role specifically focuses on Black birthing families, addressing their unique mental health needs and challenges during pregnancy and the postpartum period. As a counselor, you will implement culturally sensitive practices and tailor your therapeutic approaches to enhance engagement and foster trust within this community, ensuring that clients feel understood and supported throughout their mental health journey.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral science field from an accredited institution is required.


• Certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) is essential.


• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interact professionally and empathetically with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.


• Excellent time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.


• A collaborative spirit and a willingness to seek guidance when necessary to promote team success.

• Experience in maternal mental health or working with birthing families is highly valued.


• Background in telehealth services and familiarity with digital documentation and communication tools can greatly enhance your effectiveness in this role.

• Salary range of USD 120,000–130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
