Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions that are tailored to the needs of clients, ensuring a safe and supportive space for open dialogue.

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders through evidence-based practices.

  • Perform thorough assessments—both initial and ongoing—to inform treatment planning and ongoing care strategies.

  • Develop personalized treatment plans to meet clients' needs, setting measurable goals for their therapeutic journeys.

  • Implement psychosocial assessments to understand clients' backgrounds and unique challenges, facilitating tailored treatment recommendations.

  • Provide supportive interventions during crises, including grief and bereavement support, adapting your approach to the evolving needs of clients.

  • Adhere to all regulatory standards to ensure safety and quality in care for both clients and clinical staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele encompasses a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, trauma, and relational issues. As part of our patient-focused approach, you will leverage cultural competence and empathy to foster trusting relationships with clients, allowing for meaningful interventions and improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications

  • A valid license as a mental health counselor in the state of Oregon, such as LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field is a prerequisite.

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant counseling experience, showcasing proficiency in therapeutic techniques, assessments, and treatment plan development.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.

  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail for case documentation and data management.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working within community health settings or outpatient clinics, particularly with underserved populations.

  • Familiarity with telehealth tools and electronic health record systems to enhance service delivery.

  • Specialized training or certifications in evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits
