Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to identify their mental health needs, utilizing a range of assessment tools and techniques.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients' unique situations, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic modalities that promote effective coping and personal development.
- Provide individual therapy sessions through teletherapy or in-person visits, focusing on fostering resilience and managing challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
- Collaborate with clients to set realistic and achievable therapeutic goals, monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring the confidentiality and security of client information.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training to refine your skills and stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health care.
Your primary focus will be on diverse populations within the Houston community, addressing a broad range of mental health concerns. This includes clients overcoming trauma, managing chronic stress, and navigating emotional and relational difficulties. By recognizing the unique backgrounds and experiences of each individual, you will tailor your therapeutic approaches to their specific needs.
Qualifications- A valid licensed clinician credential in Texas: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; however, advanced degrees in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology are preferred for this role.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for establishing rapport and trust with clients.
- A compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy, with a genuine commitment to understanding clients' experiences.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload efficiently are critical for success.
While a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a therapeutic setting is required, particular emphasis is placed on candidates with prior experience in community health clinics or teletherapy environments who can navigate the challenges and needs of diverse client populations.
Compensation and Benefits- Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and case management.
