You will collaborate closely with school administrators, teachers, and families, utilizing telehealth technologies and other innovative approaches to deliver services effectively. • Provide direct clinical services to students diagnosed with major mental illnesses and emotional disorders, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.


• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to determine the needs of each client, utilizing evidence-based practices.


• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, caregivers, and other professionals.


• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment options, ensuring a cohesive approach to care.


• Maintain a manageable caseload, ensuring timely follow-ups and ongoing support for all clients.


• Document all assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with state and federal regulations.


• Assist with crisis intervention and management as needed, offering immediate support to students in distress.


• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and effectiveness in therapeutic practices.

The primary focus of this role is on school-aged children and adolescents facing various psychological challenges. Many students may come from backgrounds with limited access to mental health resources, making this role crucial in bridging that gap. • A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field is required.


• Must possess a current LCSW license in the state of Kansas.


• Minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting.


• Strong understanding of mental health treatment modalities aimed at school-age populations.

• Experience working within a school system or with diverse populations.


• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and multi-tiered systems of support within educational settings.

The yearly salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
