As a mental health counselor with Comprehensive Mental Health, LLC, you will work with a diverse population of clients, comprising individuals from varying backgrounds and circumstances. Notably, a portion of your work will involve supporting clients within a hospice center, guiding them through complex emotional experiences during critical life transitions. Whether assisting clients with severe anxiety, trauma recovery, or grief counseling, your role will be vital in fostering resilience and providing comfort during challenging times.

• A current and valid license issued by the state of New Jersey as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy and a non-judgmental attitude, essential qualities for supporting clients through their unique mental health challenges.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to effectively manage caseloads and responsibilities related to administrative duties.

• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, with a demonstrated ability to deliver effective therapeutic support.
• Experience working with clients in hospice or palliative care settings is highly desirable.
