You will work within a well-structured community health clinic framework, engaging with a variety of mental health professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality care. Your workspace will primarily involve private, confidential virtual sessions, ensuring a secure environment for both therapist and client.

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status, identifying their strengths, challenges, and treatment needs.


• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aligned with client goals based on assessment outcomes.


• Provide therapeutic services across individual, group, and family contexts utilizing evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.


• Monitor, document, and evaluate clients' progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal care and outcomes.


• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and case managers, to coordinate comprehensive care tailored to the needs of each client.


• Advocate for clients' access to mental health resources, ensuring they receive the support and services they require.


• Uphold the highest ethical standards and safeguard client confidentiality in compliance with state licensing requirements and professional guidelines.

Your client base will include a wide range of individuals facing various mental health issues, with a particular focus on those experiencing mood disorders. You will provide essential support to clients dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and other mental health challenges, helping them navigate their experiences and achieve personal growth through therapeutic interventions.

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.


• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.


• A minimum of 1 year of post-licensure experience in the mental health field.


• Strong familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies specific to mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.


• Competency in psychopharmacology and the ability to discuss treatment options collaboratively with prescribers.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience with a focus on mood disorders is preferred.


• A proven track record of successfully treating mood disorders and achieving favorable clinical outcomes.


• Experience leveraging teletherapy tools to enhance client engagement and therapeutic effectiveness.

• Annual salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
