Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans that address their specific challenges.
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to foster healing and resilience.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and addiction specialists, to ensure an integrated approach that promotes holistic recovery.
- Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, enhancing understanding of mental health and encouraging active participation in the treatment process.
- Document all client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with regulatory and ethical guidelines, maintaining confidentiality and integrity in record-keeping.
- Engage in regular supervision and feedback sessions to enhance personal and professional development, guaranteeing the highest standards of care.
You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals navigating the complexities of addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. Clients range from young adults to older adults, each presenting unique needs and backgrounds. Your role is to foster trust and rapport, empowering them to confront their challenges and embark on a path toward recovery.
Qualifications- A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
- A Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required, with a preference for advanced degrees.
- Evidence of specialized training or considerable experience in mental health counseling, particularly within detox or substance abuse settings.
- A strong grasp of evidence-based practices for treating various mental health disorders, aiming to provide effective and personalized care.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for teamwork and client engagement.
- Proven ability to foster meaningful therapeutic relationships, motivating clients through their recovery journey.
- A minimum of two years experience in a mental health or counseling role, preferably within a detox or rehabilitation setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems that enhance reporting, documentation, and coordination of care.
- Training in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention strategies.
- Competitive annual salary between USD 60,000 and 104,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
