Job Description
Job Description

Our organization is on the lookout for a board-certified or board-eligible Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to become part of a well-established, high-volume private practice located in Central Florida. You will immediately benefit from a full schedule, stepping into a role with existing surgical volume rather than starting from scratch, as we currently have three Nurse Practitioners managing our consultations and are booked several months in advance.

For over four decades, we have provided comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgical services throughout Citrus and Marion Counties from our two facilities in Crystal River and Ocala, FL. Our practice boasts a robust and expanding referral network, state-of-the-art surgical environments, cone beam CT and digital imaging technology, along with a skilled clinical team.

This position offers a true ownership opportunity, not just a nominal "track": partnership is attainable within 24 months for the right candidate.

Why is this a more advantageous first job compared to a metropolitan associate position?
In crowded markets like Tampa or Orlando, new surgeons face stiff competition from numerous peers for surgical volume and often wait years for ownership opportunities. Here, you can earn more and achieve ownership sooner. With lower competition, an already full schedule, strong regional population growth, and a favorable cost of living, you will enjoy greater take-home pay and a quicker path to partnership than in larger metropolitan areas.

Case Mix
Our practice's production is approximately 75% dentoalveolar and 25% implant and full-arch procedures. The share of implant and full-arch cases is increasing, representing significant earning potential.

Compensation
Compensation is based on current volume:
* Production-based earning potential exceeding guarantee. In your first year, you can take home over $1 million.
* Partnership available within 24 months.
* Relocation assistance provided.
* Professional liability insurance, health and retirement benefits, continuing education allowance, and coverage for dues and licensing.

Scope of Practice
Full-scope OMS includes: dentoalveolar procedures and impacted third molars, dental implants and full-arch restorations, bone grafting and regenerative techniques, office-based general anesthesia, oral pathology and biopsy, facial trauma, corrective jaw surgery, and additional procedures tailored to your training and interests.

Qualifications
Applicants must possess a DDS or DMD, have completed an accredited OMS residency, be board certified or board eligible, and be eligible for licensure in Florida.

Lifestyle
The Nature Coast of Central Florida offers an exceptional quality of life, excellent educational institutions, plentiful outdoor activities, and convenient access to both Tampa and Orlando—without the associated costs or congestion of those cities.

We encourage interested candidates to submit their CV and a letter of interest.

All inquiries will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
