Key Responsibilities

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will help serve a wide array of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. You will engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds, caring for clients with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Your commitment to cultural competence and inclusivity will further the mission of alleviating mental health disparities.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or related field from an accredited institution.

  • Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to foster strong professional relationships with clients and colleagues.

  • Competence in establishing and maintaining professional boundaries while effectively guiding clients through their therapeutic processes.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage documentation efficiently and meet deadlines.

  • An understanding of and experience working with a variety of cultural backgrounds, demonstrating sensitivity and awareness of diversity.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling is required, we prefer candidates with experience in a telehealth setting. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care, will be a significant advantage in this role.
