Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods tailored to the unique needs of each client.

  • Perform comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ presenting issues, strengths, and challenges, and design customized treatment plans that address interventional priorities.

  • Engage in collaborative care by working alongside interdisciplinary teams, ensuring holistic support for clients that may include psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers.

  • Maintain meticulous, timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans that adhere to organizational policies and legal standards.

  • Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in mental health treatment, attending workshops and training sessions to foster ongoing professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults, children, and families from various backgrounds. You will address a wide spectrum of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your work will directly contribute to improving client outcomes, promoting awareness, and providing access to culturally competent care.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in a relevant mental health field such as social work, marriage and family therapy, or professional counseling.

  • Possession of a valid California state license (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or equivalent) to practice as a mental health clinician.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapeutic services, with a strong focus on working with diverse populations.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members in a remote environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with specialized populations such as children and adolescents, individuals facing trauma, or those in crisis situations.

  • Familiarity with telehealth practices and digital documentation tools.

  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or motivational interviewing.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
