Salary Range: The compensation for this role falls between $280,000 and $408,000. The minimum salary is established based on rank and/or step at the time of appointment. This position also includes membership in a program that allows for eligibility for additional compensation.

Position Description
Our organization is seeking applications for a faculty role in the Health Sciences Clinical Series (non-tenure track) at the Assistant Professor level or higher, depending on qualifications. This position is part of the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology, which is committed to delivering outstanding clinical and surgical care to a diverse patient base. The division offers comprehensive Women's Reproductive Health Care, including low-risk obstetrics, outpatient gynecology, and benign gynecologic surgery, while also supervising residents and medical students at the only academic medical institution in Orange County, California.
Key responsibilities include delivering a full range of obstetrical and gynecological services within the faculty practice, providing inpatient GYN care, and dedicating time to supervise resident continuity clinics at our Federally Qualified Health Centers. The role also encompasses mentoring and teaching trainees at various levels, engaging in scholarly activities, and maintaining a private patient practice. Additional responsibilities involve educating medical students, residents, and fellows. Applicants must possess an MD or equivalent degree, hold a California medical license and Drug Enforcement Agency certificate by the start date, and be eligible for or certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Candidates should demonstrate excellent clinical skills, medical knowledge, a strong interest in teaching, and scholarly achievements, along with a commitment to serving the diverse populations in our community.
