• Guide clients through the therapeutic process by encouraging an open discussion of emotions and experiences that foster self-awareness and personal growth.


• Collaboratively advocate for clients' needs, facilitating the development and achievement of realistic and measurable treatment goals tailored to their unique circumstances.


• Conduct individual counseling sessions via secure video chat, ensuring a safe and empathetic space for client engagement.


• Evaluate clients' mental health status regularly, crafting personalized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based strategies and solutions tailored to individual challenges.


• Document and maintain accurate records of client interactions as per state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of client information.


• Engage in regular consultation with multidisciplinary teams to foster a holistic approach to treatment, sharing insights and strategies to enhance client outcomes.

Your responsibilities will involve working with a diverse clientele facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. We value cultural competence and a client-focused approach that respects and acknowledges each individual's unique background, fostering an inclusive therapeutic environment.

• A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.


• Current licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of California.


• Demonstrable experience providing effective counseling services to individuals, couples, and families, with a commitment to comprehensive mental health care.


• Outstanding interpersonal skills that enable the establishment of strong rapport and trust with clients from varied backgrounds.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective documentation and collaboration with colleagues.


• An ability to work independently, demonstrating self-motivation, as well as the capability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team setting.

• Experience utilizing digital platforms for teletherapy, with familiarity in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain client documentation.


• A background in providing trauma-informed care and knowledge of various therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is advantageous.


• Prior engagement in professional development or continuing education focused on emerging trends in mental health treatment.
