Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to determine their individual needs and therapy goals.

  • Deliver tailored individual and family therapy sessions, adapting therapeutic techniques to address the unique challenges faced by each client.

  • Ensure timely completion of essential documentation including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, using our secure electronic health record (EHR) system.

  • Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to support clients in maintaining stability and achieving their therapeutic goals.

  • Formulate and execute discharge plans that facilitate a smooth transition for clients onto their next phase of care.

  • Stay compliant with all federal and state regulatory requirements, NEHS policies, and the ethical guidelines of your profession.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge through training and continuing education.

  • Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to collaborate and share insights for improved client outcomes.

  • Complete all required licensure and mandatory training in a timely manner to ensure compliance and maintain professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse population including individuals and families from varied backgrounds and life experiences. Your clinical work will involve addressing a spectrum of mental health issues, ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex behavioral health challenges. Your culturally informed approach will be essential in understanding and meeting the unique needs of our clients.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field that leads to licensure is required.

  • Candidates must hold licensure as a mental health therapist (LCPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the state of Nevada.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in a community health setting is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Previous work with underserved populations and an understanding of multicultural perspectives will be advantageous.

  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
