Our organization is in search of a Gastroenterologist for the Queens area!
We are looking for a Full-time Gastroenterologist to join our team at Mount Sinai Queens Hospital. The Division is dedicated to the mission of the Icahn School of Medicine, emphasizing a holistic approach to patient care, research, and education, while nurturing a collaborative environment filled with teamwork and mutual support.
A faculty position in Gastroenterology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai will be offered, based on experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough, efficient, and collaborative gastrointestinal assessments for hospitalized patients.
Collaborate with the entire healthcare team—including nursing staff, trainees, case management, and families—to provide current recommendations for diagnostic testing and treatment.
Promote health awareness, disease prevention, and maintenance while advocating for patients. Focus on accuracy and efficiency to facilitate timely discharges and minimize hospital stays.
Act as a teaching faculty member for the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship Training Program as well as the Internal Medicine Residency Program.
Engage in quality assurance initiatives and deliver lectures or presentations.
Participate in the Peer Review process.

Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
Valid New York State Medical License.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.

Compensation ranges from $425,000 to $500,000 (excluding bonuses or incentive compensation and benefits).
