Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to provide care from a comfortable home environment while benefiting from regular virtual meetings with your colleagues. Our work hours are structured from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the possibility of scheduling adjustments based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments that take into account cultural context, enabling the development of personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting techniques to reflect each patient’s unique cultural perspectives and life experiences.
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space where patients can openly address their mental health challenges and foster resilience.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other therapists to ensure that all facets of patient care are harmonized.
  • Provide crisis intervention services and support during acute mental health emergencies, utilizing strong de-escalation techniques.
  • Engage patients and their families in educational discussions about mental health, covering treatment options and available community resources.
  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient record-keeping.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing cultural competency training to further develop your skills and knowledge base.
  • Stay abreast of current research and best practices in mental health therapy, integrating new findings into your treatment approach.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methods, as well as a commitment to practicing culturally competent therapy.
  • Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy using inclusive approaches that respect and acknowledge diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficient crisis intervention skills, along with the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to build rapport with clients from diverse cultures.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems and proficiency in other relevant computer applications.
  • Dedication to ethical guidelines, maintaining confidentiality, and upholding professional boundaries in therapist-client relationships.

Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in a multicultural mental health setting is preferred, specifically with populations facing unique cultural challenges.

Compensation and Benefits
