Job Description
Our organization is looking to recruit a skilled and board-certified/board-eligible Family Medicine physician to become part of a well-established practice in Auburn, CA.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate, treat, and manage patients in family medicine, focusing on preventive, acute, and chronic care.
- Oversee a growing patient panel while occasionally providing coverage for fellow clinicians.
- Supervise advanced practice clinicians as needed.
- Participate in on-call duties, which include up to 2-3 months of primary phone call and an additional 4 months of backup call for APCs.
- Attend bi-annual dinner meetings after hours.
- Conduct patient care during two daily blocks of 3.5 hours, with 30-minute administrative periods at the end of each block.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine.
- Annual compensation of $260,000 for full-time work (39 hours per week).
- A sign-on bonus of $20,000.
- Relocation assistance available up to $20,000.
- Two days of paid Continuing Medical Education (CME) annually.
- CME funding of $1,000 per year, with the option to roll over unused funds for one year.
- 24 hours of sick leave, which does not roll over.

We are affiliated with a prominent Independent Practice Association (IPA) that includes over 500 top private practice physicians connected with a major health system. Our physicians provide both primary and advanced specialty care, serving more than 100,000 patients across Placer, Sacramento, Solano, and Yolo counties. Our mission is to collaborate with independent practices to deliver efficient, innovative, and high-quality healthcare in the Sacramento Valley.
The team consists of 2 physicians and 6 advanced practice clinicians, managing an average of 10-13 patients per day.
