This includes a collaborative team of more than 60 interventional radiologists working together across the region. As the sole physician group for Kaiser Foundation Hospitals in this area, we provide our physicians with long-term career stability, exceptional support for their practice, and safeguards against corporatization or changes in hospital contracts.

We are looking for an Interventional Radiologist to become part of our friendly and well-established team in the Napa-Solano service area, primarily serving the Vallejo and Vacaville Medical Centers. You will join a group consisting of 20 diagnostic and 4 interventional radiologists in a partnership-track role, characterized by a strong clinical presence in interventional radiology and excellent collaboration across various surgical and medical specialties.

Position Duties & Responsibilities
  • Engagement in a comprehensive practice of adult interventional radiology, which includes:
    • Interventional oncology with participation in the hepatobiliary tumor board: Y-90, microwave, and cryoablations
    • Embolization procedures, including prostate artery interventions
    • Peripheral arterial and venous interventions
    • Spine interventions
    • Dialysis access, including peritoneal dialysis
    • A variety of inpatient and outpatient IR services
  • Participation in shared weekday and weekend interventional radiology call, averaging every fifth week
  • Involvement in general diagnostic radiology rotations, with approximately 70-90% focused on IR and 10-30% on general radiology (remote)
  • Close collaboration with surgical, oncology, hospital medicine, and other specialties within a highly coordinated, multispecialty environment.
Requirements
  • Board Eligible / Board Certified in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
