Position Overview / Department OverviewThe department plays a crucial role in managing and ensuring the availability of surgical supplies within the Operating Room (OR), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Day Surgery. Key responsibilities include overseeing inventory levels, replenishing supplies, and adjusting stock levels as necessary to meet surgical requirements. The team is tasked with receiving, inspecting, and confirming orders, maintaining organized storage areas, and preparing surgical case carts for both planned and emergency procedures. Acting as a bridge between the Surgical Processing Department and clinical personnel, the department guarantees effective communication and timely delivery of instruments and materials essential for surgical operations, all while adhering to strict departmental guidelines.
