The Compassionate Health Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote telehealth team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop effective, personalized treatment plans.
- Provide individual therapy utilizing tailored techniques that foster personal growth, emotional resilience, and overall well-being.
- Collaborate with clients to establish therapeutic goals and actively monitor their progress through regular feedback and adjustment of strategies.
- Utilize teletherapy platforms efficiently to conduct virtual counseling sessions and engage clients in a meaningful manner.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training to enhance clinical skills and remain abreast of emerging trends in mental health therapy.
This role requires sensitivity and awareness in working with a diverse population that may include couples, children, teenagers, and families, particularly from underrepresented communities. Clinicians with experience in serving clients of color and those within the LGBTQIA+ community are highly encouraged to apply. Your expertise will play a critical role in providing culturally competent care and developing therapeutic alliances that empower clients.
Qualifications- A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
- Possession of a current and valid LMFT license issued by the state of Colorado.
- Minimum of two years of full-time counseling experience in a clinical setting.
- Clinical experience working with varied demographics, including couples, children, and adolescents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Experience providing teletherapy services and familiarity with virtual counseling platforms.
- Proven history of successful case management and treatment planning tailored to diverse client needs.
- Therapeutic experience addressing trauma, addiction, anxiety, and related mental health conditions.
