• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to establish their psychological status and identify therapeutic needs.


• Design and implement individualized therapy plans utilizing various evidence-based modalities tailored to the needs of each patient.


• Schedule and conduct regular counseling sessions with clients, offering therapeutic techniques and coping strategies to support their mental health journey.


• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and medical doctors, to provide referrals and develop integrated treatment strategies.


• Document client progress and treatment plans accurately and promptly in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with established protocols and safeguarding client confidentiality.


• Stay informed about current trends in mental health treatment and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and training.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Allied Health Psychotherapy Center, you will work with a diverse client base. Patients may present with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance use disorders. • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.


• Current and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.


• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling and therapy.


• Proficient understanding of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and ethical guidelines in mental health care.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster trusting relationships with a diverse client population.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing culturally competent and trauma-informed approaches.


• Advanced skills in crisis intervention and management, demonstrating the ability to navigate challenging situations effectively.


• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) software and other technological tools relevant to mental health practice.
