Key Responsibilities
  • Regularly assess patient pain levels to ensure effective pain management, including follow-up assessments after interventions.
  • Carry out procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring timely and thorough documentation in patient medical records.
  • Deliver exceptional care by responding swiftly to patient requests, proactively anticipating and addressing their needs.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up care, simplifying complex medical terms for better understanding.
  • Guide patients and families on non-medical follow-up measures, such as healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and self-management strategies.
Qualifications
  • Completion of the NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days of starting employment.
  • Certification in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 6 months of starting employment.
  • Completion of the Trauma Nursing Core Course within 6 months of starting employment.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification within 6 months of starting employment.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of starting employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of starting employment.
