Job Description
Position Overview

The Compassionate Psychotherapy Clinic is actively looking for a dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team remotely. This full-time position allows you to effectively contribute to improving mental health outcomes for clients while enjoying the flexibility of teletherapy. Ideal candidates will bring experience in individual therapy and a commitment to fostering emotional growth and resilience in clients.

About the Organization

Compassionate Psychotherapy Clinic is committed to delivering high-quality mental health services through a unique, entirely remote model. We prioritize supporting our clients' mental well-being by providing assessment and treatment services to individuals struggling with low-acuity mental health issues. Our team understands the value of high-quality therapy in enhancing one's quality of life and works collaboratively to provide clients with vital psychological skills.

Work Environment

This remote position eliminates the need for a traditional office setting, granting you the freedom to work from home or any location of your choice that suits your lifestyle. Our team is made up of compassionate professionals who value independence and promote a work-life balance. With no non-compete agreements in place, this role can also seamlessly fit alongside your existing employment, making it an attractive option for those seeking supplemental income.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Compassionate Psychotherapy Clinic, you will:

  • Conduct engaging one-on-one video therapy sessions aimed at enhancing clients' mental health and self-awareness.
  • Encourage open dialogue with clients, facilitating a supportive environment for them to explore their emotions, experiences, and relationships.
  • Act as a client advocate, guiding clients in defining their personal and therapeutic goals.
  • Utilize your clinical expertise to evaluate clients' mental health needs, develop customized treatment plans, and implement solutions that address their specific challenges.
  • Collaborate with the broader team to ensure clients receive well-rounded care and support.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with stable, low-acuity adults facing a myriad of mental health concerns. Our clinic focuses on clients requiring supportive therapy rather than crisis intervention, allowing you to work with individuals who are ready and willing to engage in their therapeutic journey. By collaborating with clients, you will help them build the skills necessary for achieving their personal goals and improving their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Possess a Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Hold a valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential.
  • Maintain an unblemished professional record with no disciplinary actions or limited/provisional licenses.
  • Exhibit exceptional interpersonal communication skills and a strong sense of empathy.
  • Possess proficient computer literacy, with experience in virtual communication platforms.
Preferred Experience

While the primary qualifications for this role are essential, candidates with prior experience in teletherapy, knowledge of solution-focused therapeutic techniques, and a background working with diverse populations will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems or, ideally, experience with our user-friendly therapist platform is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

Your hard work and dedication will be recognized with a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by a variety of benefits:

  • Weekly direct deposit for timely compensation.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage for full-time staff.
  • Access to a supportive professional network and resources aimed at fostering your development.
  • Minimal administrative responsibilities, allowing you to focus primarily on client care and therapy.

At the Compassionate Psychotherapy Clinic, we are dedicated to your professional development. We provide opportunities for ongoing training, supervision, and participation in workshops to help you expand your knowledge and skills in the ever-evolving field of mental health. Additionally, as you establish your practice within our network, you will have the chance to take on new responsibilities and advance your career as our organization grows.

Why Join Our Team
