Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the Inner Growth Institute, your key responsibilities will encompass a range of fulfilling tasks, including but not limited to:



  • Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand the unique mental health needs of students and developing tailored treatment plans that are grounded in solution-focused methodologies.

  • Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to foster emotional growth and resilience.

  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date, and secure clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and all regulatory standards, emphasizing the importance of confidentiality and ethical practice.

  • Collaborating effectively with a team of mental health professionals, educators, and parents to create an integrated approach to student care, ensuring everyone involved is informed and engaged.

  • Participating in weekly case consultations and peer review meetings to discuss challenging cases, share insights, and continuously improve the quality of care provided.

  • Providing educational resources and guidance to students and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health challenges, coping strategies, and available resources in the community.

  • Staying informed about the latest developments in the field of mental health and incorporating new research findings into your clinical practice to offer the best possible care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of your work will be centered around students from diverse backgrounds, ranging from elementary to high school age. Many of these students may experience challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your role will be instrumental in creating supportive environments that promote their emotional well-being and academic success.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

  • A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in educational or community settings, demonstrating relevant psychotherapeutic expertise.

  • Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and proven skills in implementing them with a diverse client base.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time LCSW position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
