Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Advanced Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our Special Education Program. In this full-time position, you will leverage your expertise in mental health to support students with diverse needs, including those experiencing autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, and emotional and behavioral disorders. This role provides the unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of young individuals and their families in Franklin, Tennessee, through remote work at our community health clinic.

Work Environment
This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to deliver services to students while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team comprised of educators, therapists, and mental health professionals. Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekend availability. You may also be required to participate in on-call support as needed to address students' urgent mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate students' psychological needs and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
- Implement individualized treatment plans that focus on enhancing emotional well-being and facilitating successful integration into the school community.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to address specific conditions such as ASD, ADHD, and trauma.
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering personal growth and developing effective coping strategies among students.
- Engage in collaborative efforts with educational staff, occupational therapists, and speech therapists to ensure comprehensive care for each student.
- Offer crisis intervention services to support students during mental health emergencies, ensuring a safe and responsive environment.
- Develop and deliver psychoeducational workshops for students and their families, enhancing their understanding of mental health challenges and available resources.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
- Participate in team meetings and case conferences, contributing to ongoing professional development within the team.
- Stay updated on current mental health laws, regulations, and ethical practices ensuring compliance in all activities.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work primarily with students experiencing a variety of mental health conditions, including autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and ADHD. Your role will involve not only therapeutic interventions but also collaboration with families to empower them with knowledge and skills to support their child’s mental health journey.
Qualifications
- Education: Must possess a Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Tennessee.
- Skills: Strong analytic abilities in conducting mental health assessments, diagnosing disorders, and creating effective treatment plans.
- Proficiency in the utilization of various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based interventions.
- Excellent crisis intervention skills, with a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Outstanding interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and team members.
- Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for patient documentation.
Preferred Experience
- Two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting specializing in working with children or adolescents preferred.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and an understanding of special education principles.
Compensation and Benefits
