<p><strong>Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry</strong> </br> <strong>Location:</strong> Wilmington, NC </br> <strong>Agency:</strong> Concentric Healthcare Staffing </br> <strong>Pay:</strong> Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) </br> <strong>Contract Duration:</strong> 13 Weeks </br> <strong>Start Date:</strong> ASAP </br></p> <h4 >About the Position</h4> <p>TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401!<br><br><p></p><h2>Job Title</h2><p>Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Cardiac)</p><h2>Location</h2><p>Wilmington, NC | Acute Care</p><h2>Schedule / Job Type</h2><p>Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Provide direct patient care on a cardiac telemetry unit managing diagnoses including Atrial Fibrillation, CHF, ACS, CAD, valvular conditions, cardiomyopathy, and peripheral vascular disease</li><li>Monitor and manage patients post-procedure, including post-cath, post-DCCV, post-electrophysiology procedures, and pacemaker placements</li><li>Operate and interpret specialized equipment including EKG, arterial lines, femoral sheaths, TR band, Fem-stop, chest tubes, Doppler, bladder scanner, and epicardial pacing wires</li><li>Document using EPIC, communicate via SBAR, and manage medications through Pyxis</li><li>Float to other units as needed and provide weekend coverage (expected 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period)</li><li>Be prepared to participate in Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team assignments; contract staff may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty incidents, or disasters</li></ul><h2>Required Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Active RN license – NC state license or Compact license accepted (pending licensure acceptable for submission)</li><li><strong>BLS certification required</strong></li><li><strong>ACLS certification required</strong></li><li>Minimum 2 years of cardiac nursing experience required</li><li>Must be willing to work holidays (expected 2 of 3 major holidays)</li><li>Must pass EKG testing prior to start</li><li>Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are accepted; a local pay rate applies</li></ul><h2>Preferred Experience / Skills</h2><ul><li>NIHSS certification preferred</li><li>Experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Step-Down units preferred</li><li>Familiarity with CABG, TAVR, Mitral Clip, LAAO (Watchman), carotid endarterectomy, and other cardiac or vascular surgical procedures</li><li>First-time travelers welcome provided minimum cardiac experience requirement is met</li></ul><h2>Why Join Us</h2><ul><li>Opportunity to work in a high-acuity cardiac environment with exposure to a wide range of complex diagnoses and advanced surgical procedures</li><li>Contracts of 13–26 weeks available, offering flexibility and extended placement in a dynamic clinical setting</li></ul><p></p></p><p> <b>About Concentric Healthcare Staffing</b><br><p>Founded and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Concentric Healthcare Staffing specializes in healthcare employment with an emphasis in nursing and allied health.
