Key Responsibilities

In your position as a Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct thorough psycho-social assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Diagnose and address a spectrum of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, revising care strategies based on ongoing patient evaluations.
• Facilitate referrals to community-based programs, support groups, and specialized treatment services to enhance overall patient well-being.
• Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to best practice discussions, promoting a culture of learning and development.
• Uphold compliance with relevant federal, state, and ethical standards, practicing within the scope of the Mental Health Practice Act.
• Provide crisis intervention, supportive counseling, and family therapy when necessary, identifying patients who may need additional resources or support.
• Act as an advocate for patients and families, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with all involved care teams.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse patient demographic, including individuals facing acute and chronic mental health challenges. Qualifications

To excel in this position, you should possess:

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• A valid state licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or Psychologist is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
