Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while still being integrated into a collaborative and supportive team environment. Scheduled work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient-focused scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, utilizing structured evaluation tools to identify client needs and tailor personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy through various evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to promote resilience and recovery.
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups that empower patients through knowledge about mental health issues and coping strategies.
• Collaborate closely with a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive patient care strategy.
• Deliver crisis intervention services to assist patients experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and immediate support.
• Educate patients on mental health conditions and available community resources, enhancing their understanding and access to care.
• Earn trust as you maintain accurate, confidential documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular case consultations and clinical team meetings, contributing ideas for clinical best practices and area improvements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training, remaining current with the latest research and methodologies in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Virginia.
• Thorough knowledge of mental health disorders, assessment techniques, and evidence-based treatment strategies.
• Demonstrated experience conducting thorough mental health evaluations and crafting effective treatment plans.
• Proficient in delivering therapy services to various demographic groups.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster a warm and trusting therapeutic relationship.
• Strong adherence to professional ethics, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain boundaries in therapeutic settings.
• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems as well as general computer software applications.
• A collaborative mindset to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient settings and with clients facing complex mental health challenges is highly desired.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapeutic modalities will be considered an asset.
• Experience in leading group therapy sessions and providing psychoeducational workshops is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
