Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, tailoring approaches to meet specific client needs.
- Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in accordance with Maryland state regulations, ensuring that all client interactions are logged accurately and timely.
- Engage actively in clinical supervision and participate in ongoing professional development through training and workshops.
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary team environment by collaborating with other clinicians and staff to ensure comprehensive, holistic care for our clients.
- Effectively manage your schedule and caseload, with flexibility to adapt to part-time or full-time hours as needed.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of best practices in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will be working primarily with adult clients navigating various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, making cultural competence and sensitivity essential in your approach. The role will also involve providing support to families in crisis and helping couples enhance their communication and relational dynamics.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Active and unrestricted Maryland licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
- Strong clinical skills with demonstrated experience in individual, couple, or family therapy modalities.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing a flexible schedule.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in a mental health counseling setting, including community health or similar environments.
- Experience utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or family therapy.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling methodologies.
Compensation and Benefits
