Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs, utilizing standardized diagnostic tools and clinical interviews to formulate accurate clinical diagnoses.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.
• Provide ongoing individual, group, and family therapy sessions, fostering a safe and supportive environment for clients to express their thoughts and feelings.
• Deliver crisis intervention services as necessary, expertly managing acute mental health crises and ensuring clients receive appropriate support and referrals.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including progress notes and treatment updates, adhering to ethical and legal standards set forth in the mental health field.
• Engage actively in collaborative treatment planning with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring each client receives well-rounded care aligned with their therapeutic goals.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues and available local community resources, advocating for clients' rights and services.
• Participate in professional development through ongoing training and workshops, remaining updated with the latest practices in mental health therapy to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Possession of a current mental health therapy license (LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland is required.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, working directly with clients facing mental health challenges.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000 per year, complemented by comprehensive benefits.
