Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive mental health assessments through individual teletherapy sessions, utilizing video-based encounters to ensure effective patient engagement.
Compile extensive patient records, including health histories and results from mental status examinations, to inform treatment decisions.
Develop, implement, and monitor personalized behavioral health treatment plans, using evidence-based interventions to evaluate the effectiveness of these plans.
Maintain accurate and sensitive patient information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations while documenting examination results and care provisions.
Stay updated with the latest in mental health practices by participating in continuous education and adopting innovative psychosocial intervention techniques.
You will engage with a diverse array of patients seeking support for various mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to complex behavioral concerns. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that patients receive holistic care tailored to their unique circumstances, thereby positively influencing their mental well-being and overall health journeys.
QualificationsA Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Art Therapy, or Psychology.
A current and valid professional license (such as LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing for effective patient interaction and collaboration with team members.
Demonstrated experience utilizing electronic clinical systems and electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring efficient management of patient care.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a significant asset that will enhance communication with our diverse patient population.
A minimum of 2 years of related experience in a mental health counseling role, with a demonstrated passion for patient-centered care.
Familiarity with digital mental health applications and telehealth platforms is preferred, as we continually strive for technological advancements in service delivery.
Peakway Behavioral Health System offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, reflecting your experience and contributions to the team. Additionally, we provide a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000 to welcome you to our practice.
