Veterinary Technician Assistant - Emergency Hickory Veterinary and Specialty Hospital
Plymouth Meeting, PA | Full-Time

** $2,000retention bonus **

Schedule & Pay

• 5-8-hour shifts/week, Shifts range from 6am-9pm
• Starting at $17/hr.
• Please note that some holidays are required.

What You'll Do

• Provide hands-on support during emergency procedures
• Prepare and restock treatment areas with necessary supplies
• Communicate compassionately with pet parents
• Perform basic laboratory tasks
• Collaborate with emergency technicians and doctors

What You Bring

• Previous experience in a veterinary, animal care, or shelter environment preferred
• Solid communication skills
• Basic knowledge of animal handling, restraint, and common veterinary terminology
• A calm, organized demeanor capable of juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Attention to detail
• A passion for continuous learning
