Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health status and treatment needs of clients entering the detox program.
  • Developing personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, specifically tailored to address each client’s unique needs and recovery goals.
  • Implementing therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to assist clients in managing their symptoms and fostering resilience.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in adherence to HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all applicable standards.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team, which may include psychiatrists, psychologists, and addiction specialists, to provide comprehensive and holistic care to clients.
  • Engaging in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance treatment approaches and share insights with fellow clinicians.
  • Providing education and support to clients and their families, helping them understand mental health and substance abuse conditions, treatment options, and local community resources.
  • Staying informed about the latest research and trends in mental health and addiction treatment, and integrating this knowledge into practice to ensure optimal care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve supporting individuals struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. Recognizing the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our clients in Chino and surrounding areas, your empathetic approach will be crucial to fostering a supportive environment that encourages healing and personal growth.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating a solid foundation in clinical knowledge and skills.
  • A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California, reflecting your professional qualifications.
  • A minimum of three years of clinical experience, showcasing your ability to handle complex cases and diverse client needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, dependent upon experience and qualifications.
