Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student, based on comprehensive clinical assessments.
• Participating actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with educators, school counselors, and parents to formulate holistic approaches to student care.
• Monitoring client situations regularly and following up to assess progress and address any emerging concerns or needs.
• Implementing effective strategies and interventions to enhance student mental health and academic performance.
• Documenting all treatment interactions thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Providing coaching and guidance to parents and guardians to reinforce strategies at home.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, the Clinical Social Worker will focus on a diverse range of student needs, addressing mental health challenges, behavioral issues, and emotional disturbances. You will work closely with children and adolescents in a school environment, adapting your approaches according to developmental stages and specific issues faced by the student body.

Qualifications

• Current LICSW Licensure in the state of Washington.
• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Strong verbal communication skills essential for counseling and providing guidance to students and their families.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to develop effective treatment plans that address diverse client needs.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a clinical social worker, preferably within educational settings.
