Key Responsibilities
  • Provide virtual psychotherapy services to a caseload of clients, focusing on individualized care plans that address their unique needs and goals.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine the mental health needs of clients and develop appropriate therapeutic interventions.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy to facilitate healing and support client resilience.
  • Engage in regular supervision and team meetings to discuss client progress and share innovative therapeutic strategies.
  • Document sessions thoroughly in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system while adhering to best practices for confidentiality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to identify and address broader psychosocial issues affecting clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adults aged 18 and over, providing support to individuals who may be facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Your expertise will also be instrumental in reaching out to underserved populations, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community and marginalized groups. This focus aligns with our mission to ensure equitable access to mental health resources for all clients.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • An active LICSW license to practice in Massachusetts.
  • A minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience, with a proven track record of effectively managing diverse client populations.
  • Proficient skills in delivering CBT and/or Psychodynamic Therapy.
  • Demonstrated experience in navigating the complexities of working with the LGBTQIA+ community and a passion for supporting Men's mental health.
  • Possession of professional malpractice insurance to uphold the highest standards of practice.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing psychotherapy to younger adult demographics.
  • A background in addressing the needs of minority groups and developing competency in culturally responsive care.
  • Knowledge of current trends and challenges in the mental health landscape;
Compensation and Benefits
