Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic practices and interventions to help students achieve their treatment goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus primarily on school-aged children and adolescents, addressing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. Understanding the unique context and pressures faced by students today is central to this role. By advocating for mental health awareness and providing critical support, you will play a transformative role in the lives of students navigating both personal and academic challenges.

Qualifications

• A valid LICSW license is required to practice.
• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Strong verbal communication skills for effective counseling and advising of clients.
• Demonstrated analytical abilities to design and implement effective treatment plans based on clinical assessments.
• Coaching skills to empower students and families to make positive life changes.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience working within a school setting or with a similar population.
