Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, tailoring interventions based on the unique needs of each client.
• Provide crisis intervention services, including the development of pre-crisis and crisis plans to ensure client safety and well-being.
• Document all assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to regulatory standards.
• Utilize evidence-based tools and interventions as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure the highest standards of care.
• Collaborate with various service systems, state agencies, and community partners, acting as a liaison to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
• Participate actively in continuing education opportunities, including conferences and workshops, to further develop professional skills and knowledge.
• Engage in outreach efforts to promote the agency’s mission and identify potential partnerships and funding sources, contributing to future growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will work with encompass a diverse demographic, including individuals facing mental health challenges, those recovering from substance use disorders, and individuals with varying developmental disabilities. Your role will focus on empowering clients through effective counseling, support, and evidence-based interventions that promote healing and recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Valid and independent LMHC license issued by the state of Massachusetts.
