Overview

As Senior Finance Manager, you will partner with Windows and Devices Engineering to align $20B+ resources with strategic priorities, guiding investment decisions and driving expense management. You'll act as a trusted finance advisor to engineering leaders, translating data into actionable insights and scalable processes. This role blends strategic finance with cross-functional collaboration to shape the engineering roadmap and portfolio health. You'll work in a fast-paced, growth-minded environment that values clarity, storytelling, and impact.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership to Engineering leaders to optimize investments and drive operating leverage
  • Analyze resource landscape and connect allocation to financial performance and planning
  • Assess portfolio health across engineering programs and identify risks, opportunities, and tradeoffs
  • Embed a culture of process excellence and partner across Engineering to align resources with strategy and roadmaps
Key requirements
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field with 2+ years in financial analysis or
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field with 4+ years in financial analysis or
  • 1+ year(s) experience in multi-national, multi-product finance roles (preferred)
  • 1+ year(s) experience in matrix-based organization (preferred)
  • 1+ year(s) experience in technology or software industry (preferred)
  • Financial analysis experience; experience with high-tech commercial cloud services and economics (preferred)
  • Proven ability to partner with executives, influence decisions, and tell a clear story
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and prioritize in a dynamic, matrixed environment
  • Strong data skills to combine, structure, and mine large datasets (Power BI, Excel, SQL)
  • Strong communication and storytelling to influence executives
