Overview

CLA is seeking an Engagement Director to provide high-level interim or project-based accounting support through CAAS. You will design and improve core accounting processes, oversee monthly close, reporting, forecasting, consolidations, and system implementations. You'll lead engagements hands-on and may travel, choosing assignments that balance career growth with life. Responsibilities

• Provide interim or project-based accounting support for clients across industries
• Design/improve close processes, financial reporting, forecasting, and consolidations
• Manage and execute client engagements with a hands-on approach
• Travel to client sites as needed to deliver services
• Choose engagements to balance workload and life
• Deliver high-quality client service and coordinate with client teams

Key requirements

• Ten years of relevant experience including public accounting
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
• Mastery in Microsoft Excel and experience with a variety of accounting software
• CPA certification is preferred but not required
• Prior project management and exceptional client service management experience preferred
• Prior industry experience as CFO, Controller, SEC Reporting or Internal Audit Manager equivalent preferred
• Big Four alumni preferred
