Role Description The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide direct patient care and clinical support within the urology clinic. Day-to-day responsibilities include obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for examinations and procedures, assisting providers during in-office treatments, and performing basic clinical tasks such as catheter care, specimen collection, and wound care according to established protocols. The LPN will administer medications as ordered, document care accurately in the medical record, support patient education on treatment plans and follow-up, and reinforce infection control and safety standards. The role also includes coordinating patient flow, managing appointment-related tasks, and collaborating with the care team to ensure timely, efficient service. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Palm Bay–Melbourne–Titusville Area, requiring reliable attendance and active participation in team-based care.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Florida.


• Previous experience in urology is a plus, outpatient specialty care, or a related clinical setting preferred; hospital or clinic experience strongly beneficial.


• Demonstrated skills in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and basic clinical procedures within scope of practice.


• Strong documentation, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple patients and tasks efficiently.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide empathetic, culturally sensitive care to diverse populations.


• Comfort with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills; ability to learn new clinical and scheduling software as needed.


• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, follow clinical protocols, and maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.


• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited practical nursing program is required. Additional training or certification in urology or ambulatory care is a plus.

Pay $25-29 depending on experience
