Hiring: Plant Engineering Manager | Harrisburg, NC

We’re looking for an experienced Plant Engineering / Maintenance Leader to take ownership of engineering, maintenance, facilities, capital projects, safety, and environmental initiatives at a 24/7 manufacturing facility.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to keep production running, improve equipment reliability, lead maintenance teams, and drive major plant improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering and maintenance activities across the facility

• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs

• Drive equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime

• Lead capital projects from concept through commissioning

• Oversee new equipment installation, startup, and validation

• Manage facility systems, utilities, and mobile equipment

• Support environmental compliance and plant safety initiatives

• Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team

• Manage vendors, contractors, budgets, and maintenance expenditures

• Identify cost-saving and continuous improvement opportunities

What We’re Looking For:

• 10+ years of engineering or maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing

• Experience leading maintenance teams

• Strong background in equipment reliability and preventive maintenance

• Proven experience managing capital projects and equipment installations

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting knowledge

• Experience with facility management and/or mobile equipment

• CMMS experience preferred

• Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement experience preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred
