A well-established law firm is seeking a Property Damage Litigation Paralegal to join its Miami office. This position is ideal for an experienced paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and is comfortable managing cases from inception through trial. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury litigation, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to effectively support attorneys while maintaining a high level of client service.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain litigation case files, ensuring all documents, records, and correspondence are organized and up to date.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, notices, subpoenas, and discovery responses.
  • Coordinate and manage all phases of the discovery process, including document production, medical records collection, and deposition preparation.
  • Conduct legal and factual research in support of case strategy and litigation efforts.
  • Monitor court deadlines, hearing dates, and litigation calendars to ensure timely filings and compliance.
  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibit organization, witness coordination, trial binders, and courtroom logistics.
  • Support case management activities from intake through resolution.


Qualifications

  • Experience handling first-party property cases.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Strong knowledge of Florida litigation procedures and court filing requirements.
  • Experience handling discovery, medical records, and trial preparation.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff.
