Sales And Business Development Senior Manager

Our client, a global engineering and advanced manufacturing company, is seeking a Sales and Business Development Senior Manager, to lead the expansion of its North American industrial business. This is a unique opportunity to build a market presence from the ground up, working with some of the world's leading industrial OEMs and technology companies.

The organization is a recognized provider of advanced interconnect, high-voltage, power distribution, and electromechanical solutions serving high-growth sectors including electrification, automation, robotics, energy storage, and advanced manufacturing. The company operates globally with engineering and manufacturing facilities across North America, Europe, and Asia.

The Opportunity:

This is a highly entrepreneurial role focused on developing new business across North America. You will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing opportunities with leading industrial OEMs and technology innovators in sectors such as:

• Industrial automation


• Robotics


• Energy storage systems


• Electrification technologies


• Advanced manufacturing


• Industrial equipment and controls

You will work closely with global engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams to develop customer solutions and accelerate growth across a strategically important business segment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the North American industrial market


• Build senior-level relationships with OEMs, technology innovators, and key industry stakeholders


• Identify and close new business opportunities across robotics, automation, electrification, and energy storage applications


• Lead commercial discussions, including contract negotiations, pricing strategy, and long-term account planning


• Drive pipeline development and revenue growth through a proactive hunter approach


• Partner with engineering and technical teams to translate customer requirements into commercial opportunities


• Collaborate with colleagues across North America, Asia, and Europe to support global customer programs


• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities


• Influence internal resources and stakeholders to support customer engagement and business development initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of business development, strategic sales, or account management experience within industrial technologies, electronic components, electrification, automation, robotics, or related sectors


• Demonstrated success winning and scaling new business within complex OEM environments


• Strong network and established relationships across industrial manufacturing and technology markets


• Experience selling engineered, customized, or highly technical products and solutions


• Ability to engage credibly with executive leadership, engineering teams, procurement, and operations stakeholders


• Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of delivering revenue growth


• Technical aptitude and the ability to understand customer applications and product requirements


• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with ambitious commercial objectives


• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred

Established relationships and a track record of driving growth with leading industrial automation, electrification, controls, and advanced manufacturing organizations are essential.

Regular travel to customer sites and industry events is expected.
