Led by Dr. Marnie Nussbaum, a NYC board-certified dermatologist, the practice focuses on anti-aging correction, prevention, and natural-looking rejuvenation. The team utilizes advanced, clinically proven technologies and micro-injectable techniques to deliver personalized treatment plans. The practice emphasizes artistry, precision, and patient-centered care to help individuals maintain healthy, youthful skin over time.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Medical Assistant role based in New York, NY. The Medical Assistant will support daily clinical operations, including preparing exam rooms, organizing supplies, and assisting with dermatologic and aesthetic procedures. Responsibilities include welcoming patients, obtaining histories and vital signs, documenting visits, and ensuring accurate and confidential handling of medical records. The role also involves coordinating patient flow, updating charts, managing follow-up appointments, and supporting physicians and clinical staff with treatments, patient education, and post-care instructions. The Medical Assistant will collaborate closely with the team to provide a calm, professional environment and a high-quality experience for every patient.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Medical Assisting, including supporting dermatology and aesthetic procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology relevant to dermatology and cosmetic treatments.
  • Experience working in a Medical Office setting, including coordinating schedules and patient flow.
  • Ability to deliver compassionate, professional Patient Care in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
  • Competence in handling Medical Records, with attention to accuracy, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Comfort with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
  • Prior dermatology, aesthetics, or outpatient clinical experience is a plus.
