Role Description The Onsite Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Woodstock, IL, responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring production runs smoothly and safely. This role includes coordinating schedules, supervising team members, and managing workflows to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

The Onsite Manager will monitor equipment and materials, troubleshoot issues on the shop floor, and work closely with engineering and quality teams to ensure precise bending and finishing outcomes. Additional responsibilities include implementing safety procedures, maintaining compliance with company policies, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and providing clear communication between management and frontline staff. The role requires a hands-on approach, frequent presence on the production floor, and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to supervise on-site operations, coordinate teams, and manage daily production activities in a manufacturing environment.


• Experience with metal fabrication or industrial production processes; familiarity with aluminium extrusion, bending, or related technologies is an advantage.


• Strong organizational and planning skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.


• Proven ability to enforce safety standards, maintain a clean and orderly workspace, and support compliance with health and safety regulations.


• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear direction, feedback, and support to diverse team members.


• Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and timely resolution of operational issues.


• Comfort with technical documentation, work orders, and production reporting; experience with ERP or manufacturing software is essential.


• Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial operations preferred.
